RAID Servers

A company’s greatest asset, besides its employees, is its data. Millions and millions of dollars are spent to backup data, replicate data, etc. all in an attempt to protect against data loss. Backups and replication don’t actually protect against losing data, they are ways to recover from a data loss. The only true defense to protect from data loss is to implement a disk solution based on RAID technology.

RAID is a necessary building block for any company’s data protection needs. Without RAID, even a small glitch in a disk drive could cause data loss. Thankfully, with software RAID, server-based RAID controllers and external storage arrays, all companies—from the smallest to the largest—can find a RAID solution to protect their data.

Our custom built servers are built with Intel® Server Boards and utilize XEON® Quad Core Technology (singe or dual CPU configuration available).  All of our business class servers utilize two separate RAID arrays, one for the OS (RAID1) and one for data storage (RAID5). We can provide either SCSI or SATA II hard drives.  We offer several enclosure options including rack-mount, full tower, or mid-tower. 

We have also partnered with Intel® and are pleased to offer their newest product, the Intel® Modular Server System. This all-in-one system, built on Intel® Multi-Flex Technology, supports six compute modules, each supporting up to two Multi-Core Intel® Xeon® 5000 sequence processors, and up to 32 GB of memory, virtualized shared storage with fourteen hot-swap hard disk drives, an integrated management module for centralized management, redundant Ethernet switches and storage controllers.
